My Focus group met a couple of weeks ago - always a great meeting. Diana Pickens made this piece below which is quilted so beautifully.

Diana is very adventurous in her choice of thread color - always a surprise, nothing you would expect to see and it always works perfectly.
Diana and Veronica showed us a challenge they recently took part in - a picture of the Blarney Stone in Ireland. They were to interpret it any way without reproducing it. Although I don't usually take part in challenges, I'm always fascinated by how others see and interpret things.

Veronica focused on the windows and their shapes to make it a focal point for her piece. I also loved her subtle pieced background - so interesting.

Diana also used the windows as a main design element as a focal point, but how different they are.

Veronica also showed us her "tv watching", "riding in the car" piece she's working on. This is a lovely Hawaiian applique piece.
